The high you feel after a vacation

Is often quickly crushed by the actual height of your laundry pile.

Tell you what, the big low is when you see the water bill. Almost doubled since the bubba arrived and sicked over all her clothes...

Stupid reality.

I found that it was best to just leap in like it was a cold swimming pool and rip it off like an old band-aid. Well, you know what I mean.

Hopefully it was worth it!

Re your laundry pile, feh...it's chicken feed. Mine is twice as high (and there are only TWO of us!!!)

I have never had a high after vacation. It is gone the minute I leave the hotel for the last time. The trip back is one of life's most depressing times.

I'm with blognut. I hate doing laundry so much, I would rather just buy new clothes. Thank God my husband does most of it, and the tradeoff is that I do the litter boxes and toilets. Sound horrid, but it's really an even trade.
