I got nothin'

Chuck's been camping all weekend. Junior's been waking up at 6:30. I'd like to shower. But most of all, with every cell of my being, I'd like to get this song out of my head.

Can anyone help me?

(Doesn't Percy look a little like Dan Akroyd?)

Why would you want to get this song out of your head? It's very catchy.

I found a swift fork to the eye worked when my brain had "Elmo's World" on loop.

I got one up on you with thomas the train. We have a pop up board book with this little tune on one of the buttons. I have heard this until my ears bleed... Also, there is the first few words that Ella says in the morning, "Thomas, I want Thomas." Sickening. I'm purposely destroying the dvd.

Well I hate to break it to you, but posting a video of the song may not aid the removal from your head.

But hey, good luck with that...

Oh thanks for sharing! I'll be singing that all morning.

I once started singing "toot, toot, chugga, chugga, big red car" by the Wiggles out loud at work!

Turn. On. The. Radio. I had to stop the song in order to prevent it from cycling through my brain all day. What little I did hear wants to embed itself......thanks for sharing your little bit of insanity and wanting to rub it off on the rest of us.

I can help you get that tune out of your head. Pay attention now, and hum along.

It's a small world after all
it's a small world after all
it's a small world after all
it's a small, small world

See? Isn't that Thomas tune gone? No, no...don't thank me. I was glad to do it.

Luckily, I have girls who don't like Thomas. It's the Dora theme song I try hard to get out of my head these days!

Bev, that was just plain ole mean-although unsuccesful b/c Thomas won't allow other songs to infiltrate my brain.

Stop the ride I want to get off.

You could always start singing the song:

There's a hole in my bucket
Dear Liza
Dear Liza
There's a hole in my bucket
Dear Liza
A hole

Well fix it Dear Henry
Dear Henry
Dear Henry
Well fix it Dear Henry
Dear Henry
Fix it!

etc, etc, etc :D

Try a little grown-up catchiness. Break out with something like "Mickey" by Toni Basil.

This is like some kind of new age chain letter or something. Now it's stuck in my head!. I'll need to download that song somewhere, and play it for about forty or so other people, otherwise I'll be cursed for all eternity(or till Tuesday).

Mine was the "Barney" song.

It played on endless loop for almost 10 years.

Then the kids got tired of Barney, and started making fun of the song, so I still had the tune, but now with even stupider lyrics.

The things mothers have to put up with. And I don't remember seeing that in the manual.

I HATE Thomas and Friends but the boy loves it. When I am subjected to the torture that it is, I get the theme song stuck in my head for days!

Ahhhhh Thomas must die!!

Try singing the Beattles they always seem to get stuck in my head : )

We've suffered through the Thomas theme song. You better hope "Yo Gabba Gabba" is gone by the time Jr. comes of age, which would be in about six months.

I've had a song from that show stuck in my head for about week. It goes a little something like this -- hit it!

Pajama party time, jumpin around
Pajama party time, jumpin around
Pajama party time, jumpin around
Pajama party time, jumpin around

Pajama party time, jumpin around
Pajama party time, jumpin around

The important thing to remember is that tomorrow is another day. And the lyrics to the song!

No. I won't even play it to discover what it is either as I don't want it stuck in my head. Actually, will getting mindlessly drunk work maybe? I mean I don't think you can remember kids songs when you have a hang over....

Too bad they don't show Code Lyoko anymore...that's the Princess Nagger's all time favorite - she keeps singing the theme song and insists that I learn the words to sing it with her...what's funny is she has some of the words 'made up' from the lyrics...it's hilarious but I can't get it out of my brain... ;) Good luck with the Thomas thing - Bev picked the song I would have to get your mind off Thomas...LOL!

Now I also want to get that song out of my head. Thanks. Really.

I did not click on that video because whatever it is, I will be singing it like "theres an animal in trouble, theres an animal in trouble" if you don't know that song, great. But I cannot get it out of my head and don't need to add another.

Tell me I'm not the only one that finds the train faces creepy. The song would be the least of my problems.

I've heard that if you sing the lyrics to "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" at the top of your lungs it will knock loose a stuck song.
