ABOUT ME

About me: I'm 42 and added another gherkin to our pickle party of a family. My husband Chuck, our 9-year-old Junior, our 6-year-old Everett, our toddler and I live in a town in Connecticut I affectionately call Mulletville Lite (aka my childhood hometown). My friends call me Nutjob, and they're right. In my husband's spare time he dresses up as a Viking and chases ghosts (and I'm the nutjob?). When I'm not busy working as a graphic designer, I lie in a ball in the corner.

Seriously, America?

We can't make our own flags?

Happy Labor Day. I guess.

It was bound to happen. I'm surprised it wasn't sooner. It explains our poor economy that's for sure.

I don't see why we don't just become part of the Republic of China...everything sold here is made there.

So sad, what the US has come to. I just bought a dining set, just noticed it was made in China. ;-(

Look out! That flag probably has lead in it!

Same in Australia...everything is made in China these days. I really try hard to buy Australian made & its nearly impossible!

Yeah. I noticed that on Memorial Day, but it's particularly egregious on Labor Day.

Manufactured by someone who's never heard of Betsy Ross....

If I was American that would make me cry. As a cynical Brit it makes me smile.
