In exactly two hours we will be at Elmo's Green Thumb. This is the first kids' show we've ever taken Junior to.
And I'm scared. So very scared.

You're a better mother than I. The most adventuresome I've gotten is a local children's theatre. Though, Hubs did take Thing 1 to the circus SOLO while I was on bed rest during pregnancy with Thing 2.
Somewhat related: Thing 1 got really upset last night when I left to go to the NKOTB concert. I explained that it was a show for mommies, not boys.
