Apparently memory lane is lined with dogs and crazy bosses

It's Thursday night. I've been slurpin' the vino. Getting all misty about how quickly time is passing.

So I decided to play the blog game of "Where was I on September 8th of 2010, 2009 and 2008?"

Here's what I found out:

On this day in 2010, I let my male coworker cry on my shoulder and designed a college course. In 2009, I was worrying that Junior could see dead people. In 2008, I shared my lack of knowledge about foreign dogs (Earth shattering, I know).

It hit me: Without this blog I'd have no recollection of where I've been for the last three years.

No recollection.

I'm going to need a moment to ponder whether or not that's a good thing.

Slurp, slurp.

Oops, I spent that moment guzzling.

Ooopsie.

Sometimes it is good not to remember hence brain surgery and wine.

Wine is better

Now, in another year, you'll know that you were all boozed up on wine :)

Due to my sporadic blogging, I have no idea where I've been for the last three years. It's as if they never happened. Just like that tree that fell in the forest and nobody blogged about it so it naturally assumed it was three years younger than it actually was.

I had never thought of my blog as a journal of sorts...actually, I don't think I want to know what I've been up to. The past is sometimes best forgotten.

Oh, I needed that! Your blog, that is. Does it come in a dry red? Don't even bother with the white version because (a) summer is over, and (b) white wine inspires me to drink far more than is necessary, for some reason. Okay, on the other hand, does it come in a chilled white? With a side of frozen breastmilk for the husband to deal with? Memory lane is thirsty.

Sometimes I wonder if we're preserving this all for posterity, or just to keep ourselves humble.

Crazy how fast time passes.... Scary that we can't even remember what we have been doing during that time... Ugh!! Happens to us all though.

I think we have to remind all those situations because they're part of our lives I had a similar situation but it was related to xlpharmacy.

How to tell your third kid from your first

Note the appropriate response here is: "When did THAT happen?" because let's be honest, life is moving so fast, there's ...
